Had a fruitful consultative meeting with leadership of The Holy Spirit Church of East Africa led by Archbishop Albert Obede, where we held meaningful discussions on promoting peace, unity and social cohesion in Vihiga County as we steadily approach the 2027 General Elections.
In my remarks, I shared my vision for a united, inclusive and prosperous Vihiga County and humbly sought prayers, support, blessings and counsel of the Church as I continue my journey towards the Vihiga County Gubernatorial seat.
We all agreed on the vital role the Church plays in fostering harmony, encouraging peaceful coexistence and championing issue-based politics anchored on respect, love and mutual understanding.
I also emphasized that lasting development can only be realized in an environment of peace, unity and collective purpose.
Together, let us remain steadfast in safeguarding the peace that unites us and building a better Vihiga for present and future generations.
