A visionary leader with deep roots in Vihiga and a proven track record of transformative leadership
                    Born on November 2, 1962 in Makomo village, Mulundu Sub-location, North Maragoli, Alfred Indimuli Kahi is a true son of Vihiga. His father, the late Joram Kahi Kibidi, was an Engineer at Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, while his mother Tokesi Jaza Asena instilled in him the values of hard work and community service.
Indimuli spent his formative years in Makomo village before moving to Nairobi, where his father strongly imbued him with passion for education and leadership.
A product of Kenya's education system, Indimuli attended Nairobi South Primary School where he excelled in sports including football, basketball, rugby, hockey and boxing. In 1976, he joined Chavakali High School where he served in various leadership positions, he later Served as head student at A Level - demonstrating early leadership qualities.
In 1986, he earned a Bachelor of Education Science (Chemistry & Physics) from Kenyatta University, later obtaining a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Master's Degree in Strategic Management.
Beginning as a teacher at Tom Mboya Secondary in Rusinga Island, Indimuli rose through the ranks to become one of Kenya's most respected education leaders. His tenure at Vihiga High School and later as Chief Principal of Chavakali High School cemented his reputation as an innovative administrator.
As National Chairman of KESSHA, he gave the organization unprecedented visibility and influence in education policy. Despite the delocalization policy that transferred him to Machakos School, his Eastern region colleagues elected him to continue serving as their National Chairman - a testament to his exceptional leadership.

He also served as President of the African Confederation of Principals (ACP), through which KESSHA became a strong member of the International Confederation of Principals (ICP).
