Joined congregants at Chango Friends Church in Central Maragoli Ward, Vihiga Sub County, for the USFW National Prayer Day, a significant occasion that brought together believers in prayer, fellowship and reflection on the values that strengthen our families, communities and nation.
Thereafter, I proceeded to Chavugami Village to attend the burial ceremony of my late friend, Rev. Alfred Atiagaga. Rev. Atiagaga dedicated his life to serving God and humanity with humility, integrity and unwavering commitment, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire many.
Later, I joined family, friends and mourners at Evojo in Chavakali Ward, Sabatia Sub County, for the funeral service of the late Nickson Imbuga. We celebrated a life well lived and stood in solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult period.
I concluded the day in North East Bunyore ward, Emuhaya Sub County, where I attended the burial ceremony of the late Richard Chegenye Madele, father to Vihiga County Assembly first Speaker, Dan Chitwa. It was an opportunity to honour his life and legacy while extending heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones.
As we mourn and remember those who have departed, we remain grateful for their contributions to society and the lasting impact they made.
May their souls Rest In eternal Peace and may their families find comfort, strength and solace during this time of bereavement.
